Control Gear Tray: The white epoxy powder
coated gear tray carries the control gear and
lamp holders, and is also designed to act as a
reflector. Two cords allow the gear tray to be
suspended from the body during installation and
service.
Body: The single piece deep drawn body may
not be drilled on site.
Clips: Double acting stainless steel with M4
socket head screws.
Lens: 4 mm thick clear tempered plate glass.
Gasket: Extruded silicone one piece gasket.
Lens Frame: Pressed from a single piece sheet
without joining welds and with extra wide ends
for increased rigidity.
Frame Suspension: The lens frame is
suspended from two points along one side of the
body to allow the glass frame to swing open
during lamp change and servicing.
Control Gear: Electronic control gear designed
to operate in conjunction with the special single
lead G13 lampholders. The special electronic
gear has a safety cut out feature, this prevents
lamp flicker and extends lamp life. Rated
nominally 230V, DC or 50/60 Hz, operational
range is between 200 & 260v.
Lamp Holders: Special G13 lamp holders, with
only one lead per lamp, to prevent sparking.
Spring loaded to maintain contact pressure and
to absorb structural vibration.

Cable entry: Threaded Entry M20x1,5 entry provided for
a gland via a special welded insert boss is
positioned about 60 mm from the mounting
surface to facilitate installation.
Corrosion resistant glands are recommended for
use with stainless steel light fittings. Any change
of gland on site invalidates the Certification.
Entries: Single entry standard, twin entry on
special order.
Terminal Connection 4mm².
Emergency mode: Provision can be made to
run one lamp from an emergency circuit with a integral within the enclosure comprising Ni-Cad Battery pack and inverter charger unit.
Fixing: M8 threaded nut welded into the rear
mounting brackets, allow for either a bracket, or
pole clamps. The fitting is supplied with Eye
bolts for an easy, suspended installation.
Lightning Protection: All electronic products
are subject to violent destruction when struck by
lightning. An independent lightning protection
device, well earthed needs to be inserted in the
lighting circuit between the supply and lighting
circuit. Control gear damaged by lightning is not
covered by guarantee.
Single and twin lamp versions have the same
body dimension.
